For those new to diving
A basic guide to diving that even beginners can enjoy
The biggest feature of Sabang Beach (Puerto Galera) is that the diving spots are right in front of the beach. The closest point is 3 minutes away from departure, and you can dive there. Now, let me introduce you to diving in Puerto Galera.
1.Types of Diving
Diving tours are broadly divided into three categories.
● Trial Diving → An experience tour that even beginners who do not have a scuba diving license can easily participate in.
● Obtaining a license → A tour where you can obtain a diving license called a "C card."
●Fun diving → A tour where licensed divers can enjoy diving.
What is trial diving?
Maximum depth: 10m
Age limit: 11 years old and up
[Recommended introductory diving examples]
You will come into contact with the corals and schools of small fish at Sabang Port (60% chance of seeing sea turtles!!) You will practice the basic knowledge required for diving in an area about 1m deep, and then you will experience diving. Professional instructors will guide and support those who have never dived before, such as ear clearing and breathing techniques. Sea turtles often come to play in the area 4 to 5m deep, so if you're lucky, you might be able to see them!

What is licensed diving?
Izakaya Palm Divers is the best place to get your diving license. They offer both Japanese and English, and have a wide range of license courses for beginners. You can learn from experienced instructors.
